International newspapers are an excellent geographical teaching resource. They allow one to see what is going on around the world and see new viewpoints.

I hear from my Arabic-speaking friends that frequently the Arabic and English language versions of the same website have dramatically different stories and analysis. That'd be an interesting research project.
